  • Let me see if I got this right. Marc Graboff just got through saying on MSNBC that they don't care if their ratings are any good because they'll save money producing Leno's show in primetime. In other words, they don't care about the public consumer.

  • I'm a Catholic (a practising one) who voted for Obama. First, I find that the war in Iraq is immoral, too & second, we all know that this is a states' rights issue. Republicans like having this issue as is--they use it every election & won't do anything to change it.

  • As a Catholic myself I strongly condemn abortion. I also realize something else about this issue--it is a state's rights issue. Bush won 2 elections using this issue to get the votes of the religious right wing. Ask yourself a couple of questions.

  • Don't worry about the polls. "Likely voters" are based upon previous voters who have voted regularly. The Dems have 11 million newly registered voters. Keep in mind, too, that most of the younger new voters use cell phones & don't have a land line.

  • Keep in mind that the speculators were allowed to do this because of an amendment to a farm bill added on at 3AM one morning in the Senate. It allows speculation outside of the SEC's regulations, outside of the US, with no margins, so that they can bid the prices up to the moon if they want.
